In this super simple recipe, we will be making some organic homemade baby food. Now as a mama, a mama bear, one of my joys is knowing that my little one is getting the best I can give in that moment. You can see my post on different seasons in life and at times things may look differently. 

I do love to make homemade baby food, knowing what's going into her food, and I am able to use all organic ingredients. What's great about this is you change things around, add or even take out some ingredients and mix it up to your baby's liking. 

Our base ingredient here is beets which is a great source of iron. We will also add sweet potatoes, strawberries, carrots, apples and you can also add different berries, cooked oats, cooked rice etc. 

The way how I'm sharing today is how I typically make it, while she does snack of other things as well throughout the day.

BEETS

Beets are a fantastic food choice for babies due to their rich nutritional profile. They are packed with essential vitamins and minerals, including folate, which supports healthy growth and development. The natural sweetness of beets makes them appealing to young palates, while their high fiber content aids in digestion. Additionally, beets contain antioxidants that can help protect your baby's cells and promote overall health. Incorporating beets into your baby’s diet is a delicious way to provide essential nutrients

Note: These ingredients can be altered to fit to taste. This is a base amount that work well for texture and flavor. Also, you can try adding cooked quick oats, or cooked rice and blend together to create a more filling meal. Keep in mind this may alter taste and texture. I try to keep it simple in order to achieve best results.
