Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine your flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda and sugar together well.

Cut your stick of butter into small pieces and using either your fingers or a pastry cutter, cut the butter into the flour creating small crumbs.

Add in your vanilla yogurt and mix with a spoon until it starts to come together.

Flour your surface and turn shaggy dough unto your counter and knead using the back of your wrist for just about one minute, until it becomes a smooth dough.

Flatten or roll out your dough about an inch in height. Dust with a little flour if needed. Using a cookie cutter or a cup about 3 inches in diameter cut dough into circles.

**It's important not to wiggle your dough when cutting. Go straight down until you reach the counter.

Bake at 400 for 20-25 minutes until golden brown on top.

Brush top liberally with butter.

Serve with butter or jelly in the center.
